My old humidifer was having some humidistat accuracy problems so I replaced it with a new model. This new Bionaire model is taller, has a smaller footprint, and reminds me of a small Star Wars droid.
The humidity in our house will drop once the colder months begin and we turn on the heater. A humidifier is needed to keep the room's RH level between 42-55%. This keeps the guitars from drying out.
As is always the case, none of these cool mist humidifiers are silent but the fan on this model is a smidge quieter than the last one.
