It was my intention to update my repertoire lists on the right side of this blog but I'm finding it a challenge to define at what stage some of my pieces are now at.
It's quite impossible to keep all of my past works performance-ready. There are just too many of them. Pieces that I once considered myself to be competent at have become difficult to play from lack of practice. It sometimes takes a few weeks to rebuild my muscle memory.
As one of my teachers said, "Studies are studies." By that, he meant that some works were intended a vehicles for learning and not for performance, or for inclusion in your core performance repertoire.
